About P19 Android OS firmware upgrade

Note: If the projector can be turned on normally, please use the online upgrade. Do not update the firmware with a USB flash drive. If you encounter problems, please restore the factory settings first. If you must update the firmware, please contact customer service and provide the serial number of the projector and Android to the customer service. The system version, because the electronic components of the projector motherboards produced in different batches have changed, and different firmwares correspond to different motherboards. If the wrong firmware is used, the projector will not be able to boot. Please proceed with caution.

If there is a problem with the projector’s Android firmware and it cannot be upgraded online, You can upgrade through USB flash drive

Operation guidance:

a. Click the icon below to download the android OS firmware and unzip it. 

b. Unzip the firmware to the root directory of the U disk. (Note: Do not put it in other folders. The format of USB flash disk must be FAT32)

c. Then insert the U disk into the USB interface of the projector, 

d.Then connect the power cord of the projector, Turn ON the power switch on the back of the projector, press and hold the power button to upgrade, the projector will automatically upgrade. 

e. Wait for the projector to automatically shut down, and then load all the APPs after it is automatically turned on, about 20 minutes. It can be used normally. 

Note: Do not disconnect the power to the projector when upgrading. Otherwise it will cause the projector to be abnormal and slow to start. Need to upgrade again.

Note: Due to the continuous upgrading and improvement of products, the hardware motherboard of the projector will also be continuously upgraded, and the Android system firmware corresponding to different motherboards is also different. You can download the following corresponding firmware according to the serial number at the bottom of the projector to update the projector firmware . Note: Flashing the wrong firmware will result in the projector not working. If anything is unclear, please contact customer service and provide the serial number.

With the development of science and technology, in the current Bluetooth function, it is no longer used for Bluetooth to transfer files. The role of Bluetooth is only to transmit sound. The Bluetooth file transfer function has been replaced by APP.

Wifi, Bluetooth, wifi-display (airplay, Miracast, DLNA) are all different functions. The effects are different.

Many buyers often misunderstand the function of Bluetooth. For example: the following 3 types are different functions.

1. Wifi-display function, the projector displays the image and sound of the mobile phone screen through the mirroring function of the smartphone. This is not achieved using the Bluetooth function. It is achieved through the screen mirroring function that comes with the phone.

Note: Not all Android smartphones support the screen mirroring function. For smartphones that support screen mirroring, there are options similar to this in the "Settings" or "More Functions" options of the smartphone, for example: "Screen mirroing", "Wifi-display", "multi-screen", "screen projection", "play to", "media output", etc.

If the projector's pre-installed screen mirroring app is not compatible with your Android smartphone, you can connect the Android phone and the projector to the same wifi, then enter the Eshare interface of the airplay option on the projector homepage, enter the IP address on the screen in the browser of the phone, download and install the Eshare APP, and screen mirroring via Eshare APP.

1-3.Realize wifi-display via Eshare APP

If your projector’s screen mirroring function is pre-installed with Eshare, and your Android phone cannot connect to the projector, you can install the Eshare APP on your phone for screen projection.Download the designated Esahre APP according to the video

1-4-1. Connect your windows OS computer and projector IP address to the same network

1-4-2. Click the "Airplay" option on the projector homepage to enter the Eshare interface.

download and install Eshare APP to the computer.

1-4-4. Click "EShareClient-STD" on the computer, and the name and IP address of the projector in the same network will appear, select it, and then click start to succeed

Tips：

Some video apps with copyright protection cannot support wireless projection from other devices to the projector. For example, Netflix, iTunes Movie, Google Movie, Amazon Prime do not support this function on some smartphone and computers. All Android system projectors on the market are the same.

About 3D

Read U disk through USB interface, play 3D video with MX player, support side by side, top and bottom shutter 3D video.

Among them, videos in H265 and AVS formats can support up to 4K/30HZ.

Other AVI, MP4 and other formats of video can support up to 1080p/60Hz, but do not support 4K.

HDMI interface can support Blu-ray DVD to play 3D, support Side by side, Top and bottom arranged 3D video

The 1080p version of youtube pre-installed on the projector does not support switching to 3D mode.

Turn off Dolby in the setting sound of Fire TV stick 4K.

         Step："setting"----"display&Sound"---"Audio"---"Dolby digital output"---"Dolby digital plus OFF", Turn off Dolby，Do it a few times，Confirm whether Dolby is successfully turned off.

         Tips: Some sources can work normally without turning off Dolby and setting them to automatic mode. If there is still no sound in automatic mode, you must turn off Dolby.

12. The projector is pre-installed with Youtube, Netflix or other apps. After the update is prompted, the update does not work properly. What should I do?

Don't worry, enter the "Settings" interface of the projector, find and click "Restore Factory Settings".

After the recovery is successful, use the pre-installed version directly, and do not operate any upgrade prompted by the pre-installed APP. 

If the APP arrives when it is really unusable, we will update the APP together when updating the version of the Android system by optimizing on the Google server.

13. The original infrared remote control is not easy to control on APPs such as netflix, how to solve it?

As shown in the figure below, long press the "三" button of the remote control to call up the mouse mode of the remote control.

Or use mouse control, or buy a 2.4G "air mouse", choose the kind of air mouse with remote control on one side and keyboard on the other side. This air mouse is suitable for all Android system projectors. This kind of remote control performance very good, and the price is not expensive. Similar to the picture below.

P19 Series Projector Maintenance Guide

Note:

1. Before operation, it is best to wear an anti-static wristband to remove the static electricity of the human body and prevent the static electricity of the human body from penetrating the optical engine.

2. Be sure to turn off the switch on the back of the projector before disassembling the projector.

3. After disassembling the upper cover of the projector, take a picture of the main board, and then when disassembling and changing the main board plug-in cable, you can refer to the photos you took to restore it to prevent the wrong connection cable.

4. Be careful when disassembling the cable, and don't be too violent.

5. When removing the battery cable, use tweezers to push out a part of the holder bit by bit according to the video, and then unplug the battery cable by hand.

6. When installing the optical engine, first align the part of the lens, and then press down on the optical engine.

7. When installing the antenna, the black one is the Bluetooth antenna, first install the middle part.
